About Me
Hi! I’m Dinalyn, a UX Designer based in Austin, TX.
I used to work in accounting, banking, and customer service, and I even dabbled in some computer programming. But you know what? I realized that I’m absolutely fascinated by how people interact with technology.
In my previous roles, I saw the power of smooth and user-friendly experiences in finance and customer service. Plus, playing around with some coding got me even more interested in the tech side of things. That’s when it hit me - UX design is the perfect blend of my analytical brain, creativity, and love for problem solving!
What Accounting, Banking, and Customer Service taught me about UX?
Trust and Security: The experience I gained in handling sensitive financial information and maintaining data confidentiality helps me design interfaces that prioritize user trust and security.
Understanding User Needs: Customer service experience allowed me to develop strong empathy.
Attention to Detail: Working in Accounting and Banking requires meticulous attention to detail, which is crucial in UX design.
Problem Solving: My ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and develop creative solutions is proven to be beneficial in finding innovative UX design solutions.
Things I love to do during my free time:
Cooking! I love creating delicious Filipino food, lumpia and pancit is everyone’s favorite.
I also have a passion for gardening. May it be flowers, veggies or fruits.
Reading novels - thankful for Kindle Unlimited :).
Taking leisurely walks while enjoying the company of my family and furry friend Penny.
I’m always eager to connect and collaborate.
Feel free to reach out - I’m excited to embark on new design journeys and make a meaningful impact together.
